With our visiting grandchildren continuing to grow, in size and number, we decided that a kitchen extension was the only answer! Landmark were recommended to us, as a company who could help create a kitchen that would suit our farmhouse exactly. Mat and Natalie were extremely helpful with ideas and designed a layout which has proved as near perfect in use as is possible. Landmark's high quality cabinets and wooden worktops fit seamlessly between the original and the new. For me the heart of a home is the kitchen and last year Mat and Natalie helped me build a kitchen I could only dream of. There were some awkward shapes to deal with but the design ideas Mat came up with were brilliant and working together we designed a kitchen I absolutely love!

I had a few 'quirky' ideas and Landmark totally embraced this and helped me find the accessories I wanted to add that individuality to my kitchen, they didn't even try to talk me out of it when I said I wanted it painted in Middleton Pink!!

Coming from a design background we had some good ideas about how we wanted our cottage to work for us. Mat came up with different options and layouts which were not only aesthetically brilliant but radically different from what we or our architect had thought of. He managed to create a layout that gave us clever storage solutions and an open, airy feel, that everybody who enters the house comments on, as well as a kitchen that is both beautiful and practical.

His ability to visualise opportunities for creating space and adjusting structural elements meant that he not only designed a fantastic kitchen for us but that he influenced our decisions on how we rebuilt the whole ground floor. The quality of craftsmanship was without doubt the thing that drew us to Landmark, but what made an even greater impression was the truly bespoke approach they bring to the design process.

We live in a 19th century Cornish stone house in the countryside and wanted a kitchen that fitted in with the feel of the house and the view from the windows. We went to look at a friend's kitchen that had been built by Landmark and immediately knew that they would be able to design and build the perfect kitchen for our situation. We found Mat and Nat and the whole Landmark team incredibly perceptive and helpful at every stage without being at all pushy or impatient when decisions just had to take their natural course. We wanted to combine modern appliances and fittings with a traditional looking hand built cabinets. We also wanted a painted finish on the cabinets and the ability to choose our own palette. The colour and the timeless look and feel of the space that is created by the hand-built, hand painted cabinets are perfect. The whole process, from initial brief to the final stages of the installation was incredibly calm and professional.

We are absolutely delighted with the kitchen you have made for us, it was always going to be difficult to fit a kitchen in the space that we had available and also to fit it around some awkward areas but from start to finish it couldn't have been better.
